Last updated: June 2026
FoodDropr is software. We provide the storefront, ordering, and payment tools — you operate the food business. This page describes the responsibilities that sit with you, the seller.
Local food laws
You are responsible for understanding and complying with the food business laws that apply where you operate, including cottage food laws, food safety regulations, permits, business licenses, and inspections.
Labeling & allergens
You are responsible for accurate ingredient lists, allergen disclosures, weight/volume labeling, and any cottage-food disclaimers your jurisdiction requires.
Taxes
You are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax where applicable, and for reporting your income.
FoodDropr's role
FoodDropr provides software that helps you manage orders and payments. We do not provide legal, food-safety, or tax advice. We strongly recommend consulting your local health department and a qualified professional for your specific situation.
